On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, hundreds of devotees visited the Shri Girijaatmaj Ganesh temple to worship the idol of Lord Ganesha. The devotees thronged the temple premises in large numbers throughout the day.<\/p>\n
The priest, Sadashiv Tamhane, performed the puja and abhishekam of Lord Ganesha at 5:30 am. After that, the devotees had darshan (sight) of the idol. The temple premises were decorated with flowers to make it an attractive sight.<\/p>\n
As per tradition, a naivedya (offerings) was made to Lord Ganesha by Santosh Bhauseheb Shinde from Ranjangaon. Mahapuja was performed thrice a day – at 6 am, 12 pm, and 6 pm.<\/p>\n
Throughout the day, various religious activities were performed at the temple. The devotees were provided with various facilities by the temple trust. The devotees’ darshan was facilitated by making arrangements for their convenience.<\/p>\n
The temple’s president, Sanjay Dhake, and secretary Shankar Tamhane said that devotees from various parts of the region – Pune, Ahmednagar, Mumbai, Thane, and Nashik – had come to worship Lord Ganesha on this auspicious occasion.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
