The Shri Lenyadri Ganpati Devasthan Trust, one of the Ashtavinayak pilgrimage sites, is reviving the Kovid Center for Kovid patients at Golegaon.
An epidemic like the Corona plagued the world, and a virus wreaked havoc on people’s lives. During this crisis, on 22/05/2020, Shri Lenyadri Ganpati Devasthan’s largest Yatri Niwas in North Pune district in which a hall of 25,000 square feet, 64 rooms and two other small halls were first made available to the Government by the Board of Trustees free of cost.
From 22/05/2020 to 18/04/2021, 4753 patients were registered in the Kovid Center at the foothills of Shri Lenyadri, out of which 486 patients were sent to the city for further treatment, 1128 patients were cured at home and 2688 patients recovered from Lenyadri Kovid Center. Went home. It is only because of the blessings of Girijatmka and the medical staff and health workers there.
The Lenyadri Kovid Center can accommodate 350 patients at a time. Admitted at this place without taking any money from any patient, medicines are given, oxygen, pulse, temperature, sugar are checked three times a day. Tea, milk, snacks and two meals are also provided.
Regardless of the income received by the temple from this pilgrimage part two, and when the center closes after the completion of the corona, it will cost around Rs one crore for the repair of this devotee accommodation. Regardless of all this, the Board of Trustees has given this building to the government out of social awareness. Therefore, all the Board of Trustees and the government officials who are managing and planning this Kovid Center include Tehsildar, Group Development Officer, Police Administration, Junnar Municipality Chief Executive Officer and office bearers Thank you very much ..!
