English* Crowd of devotees at Shri Kshetra Lenyadri on the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi *
On thursday On 19th May 2022, on the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi, attractive flowers were decorated for Shri Girijatmaj Ganpati at Shri Kshetra Lenyadri (Tal. Junnar). Devasthan President Sadashiv Tamhane and Secretary Jitendra Bidwai informed that thousands of devotees took advantage of the darshan of Shri Girijatmaj Ganesha during the day.
On behalf of Shri Lenyadri Ganpati Devasthan Trust, at 5.30 am, Shri. After that the devotees took advantage of the darshan. Devasthan vice president Sanjay Dhekne, secretary Jitendra Bidwai, treasurer Kashinath Lokhande, trustee Shankar Tamhane, Prabhakar Jadhav, Govind Meher, Machhindra Shete, Bhagwan Hande and villagers were present on the occasion. The idol of Shri Girijatmaja and the temple were decorated with attractive flowers. Maha Aarti was performed at 12:00 noon. Various rituals were performed throughout the day. As it was a summer day, there was a crowd of devotees for morning and evening darshan. The crowd was planned by the Devasthanam for easy access of devotees. Shri Maha Aarti was performed at the time of Chandrodaya at night. Throughout the day, dignitaries from various fields took advantage of Shri’s Darshan and a large number of devotees from Junnar area and from Pune, Nagar, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik came to pay their respects to Shri.
