Sri Lenyadri Ganapati Devasthan Trust has been conducting community weddings for the last several years and this year the Board of Trustees decided to conduct free community weddings for the sons and daughters of poor and economically weak families in the society and accordingly this year the Devasthan Trust organized a grand free community marriage ceremony. had come The wedding ceremony was held at Sri Kshetra Lenyadri on Sunday 14th May. A total of 13 couples got married in this. The entire expenses of the said marriage were borne by the Devasthan Trust. In this wedding ceremony, the undesirable practices of giving manpan, playing DJ, taking dowry were stopped and all the functionaries gave a good response. The program was started with Ganesh Pooja by dignitaries. After that, the program of breaking betel nuts, sugar powder and tila was completed. Then from 11:30 am to 03:00 am, the bridegroom was arranged for the Sneh Bhojan. 13 marriages were completed at 4.00 pm in auspicious atmosphere and in the auspicious tune of Mangalashtaka. At this time, the bride and groom took an oath that I will not commit feticide and I will not allow anyone to do it. Necessary facilities were provided on behalf of the temple.
