Shri Kshetra Lenyadri Ganapati Devasthan Trust is running Sri Kshetra Lenyadri hill beautification campaign under which clean, beautiful and green Sri Kshetra Lenyadri has been resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Devasthan. This initiative is getting support from various organizations and individuals. Accordingly, Sunday The president of the temple Jitendra Bidwai and secretary Shankar Tamhane informed that various trees were planted on July 9.
Shri Kshetra Lenyadri is a pilgrimage site situated in the mountains and in close proximity to nature and a large number of devotees and tourists visit this place. Many facilities are provided to the devotees and tourists through the Devasthan Trust and various social activities are implemented through the Devasthan. The Devasthan Trust is trying to make the visit of the devotees and tourists easy and pleasant. For this purpose Sri Kshetra Lenyadri hill beautification campaign has been started on behalf of Devasthan Trust on the occasion of World Environment Day. Through this, various activities will be implemented to enhance the beauty of Lenyadri mountain and various types of flowers and fruit trees will be planted on the slopes of the mountain through the trust, Ganesh Forest, Medicinal Forest, Nakshatra Forest, Deorai and on both sides of Darshan Marga. As part of this initiative, various tree saplings were planted on the slopes of Lenyadri on Sunday 9th July. For this, Pawan Gadekar, resident editor of Aapana Awaaz news channel, gifted 30 saplings. The tree plantation program was started by Chief Justice of Junnar Court Prataprao Sapkal Saheb. Also in this campaign Prataprao Sapkal, Santosh Jadhav, Jitendra Bidwai, Sagar Tajne, Pawan Gadekar, Atharva Kabadi, Dr. Amol Punde participated and accepted the responsibility as the guardian of one tree by donating one thousand rupees each.
