Ganapati Janamotsav in Lenyadri with great excitement

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, on the occasion of Bhadrapada Shri Ganesha Chaturthi, Ashtavinayak pilgrimage site Sri Kshetra Lenyadri (T.Junnar) saw a huge crowd of devotees from early morning for the darshan of Shri Girijatmja. On the occasion of Bhadrapada Shri Ganesh Chaturthi, various religious programs were organized by the Devasthan Trust. Sri Kshetra Lenyadri area had acquired the form of a yatra. Jitendra Bidwai, president of the temple and Shankar Tamhane, secretary, informed that many devotees took advantage of Shri Girijatmaj Ganesha’s darshan during the day.
On behalf of Shri Lenyadri Ganapati Devasthan Trust, Maha Abhishek and Maha Pooja were performed on behalf of the Devasthan at 5 am. H.B.P. in the temple from 10 am to 12 pm. Deva birth kirtan was sung by Namdev Maharaj Valke. After that Shri Ganesh Janmotsav was celebrated in traditional manner. After this, Mahaprasad was organized by the Devasthan Trust for the devotees. Jitendra Bidwai, Vice President Sanjay Dhekane, Secretary Shankar Tamhane, Treasurer Kashinath Lokhande, Trustees Prabhakar Jadhav, Govind Meher, Sadashiv Tamhane, Jaywant Doke, Bhagwan Hande, Office Secretary Rohidas Bidwai, Golegaon villagers and staff and a large number of devotees were present on this occasion. . The murtis of Shri Girijatmaj Ganesha and flowers were attractively decorated in the temple. Also, Ram Maruti Kokne, a fruit merchant from Mumbai, offered various kinds of fruits as an offering to God. Various religious rituals were performed throughout the day and various services were provided to the devotees through the Devasthan Trust. The crowd was planned on behalf of the temple in order to have an easy darshan of the devotees. During the day, dignitaries from various fields took advantage of the darshan of Shri and a large number of devotees came from Junnar area and from Pune, Nagar, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik to have darshan of Shri.
