On Wednesday, November 01, 2023, on the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi, thousands of devotees had darshan of ‘Sri Girijatmaj’ Ganpati at Sri Kshetra Lenyadri (Junnar). There was a huge crowd of devotees throughout the day. Sri Kshetra Lenyadri area had acquired the form of a yatra. On this occasion, the murtis and temple of Sri Girijatmja were decorated with attractive flowers. This information was given by the president of the temple, Jitendra Bidwai and secretary, Shankar Tamhane.
On behalf of Shri Lenyadri Ganapati Devasthan, Shri Abhishek and Maha Puja was performed by Jitendra Bidwai, Vice President Sanjay Dhekane, Trustees Sadashiv Tamhane, Jaywant Doke at 5.30 am. After that, the devotees took advantage of the darshan. On the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi, the murtis of Shri Girijatmaj Ganesha and the temple premises were decorated with attractive flowers. Maha Aarti was performed in the temple at 6 am, 12 noon and 6 pm. Various religious rituals were performed throughout the day. Also, various services were provided to the devotees through the Devasthan Trust. There was a huge crowd of devotees and tourists throughout the day. The temple had planned the crowd to facilitate the darshan of the devotees. In the evening there was a music bhajan program by Shree Muktai Prasadic Bhajani Mandal Shivechiwadi. Maha aarti of Shri was performed at night at moonrise. After that, Mahaprasad was organized for the devotees through the Devasthan Trust. Also, Sameer Tanhaji Dhole from Aliare gave 51 dozen bananas as an offering to God. On the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi, dignitaries from various fields took advantage of the darshan of Shri. Also, a large number of devotees came from Junnar area and from Pune, Ahmednagar, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik to see Shri.
